Do you spend time with the animals?

YES! It is our favourite part of the day, Although we do a lot behind the scenes to ensure our day-to-day runs smoothly, we always make sure we have time to cuddle and play with your pet’s

Can I bring my pet’s own food, bed, or toys?

Absolutely! Familiar items help your dog settle in. We recommend bringing their usual food, a comfort item, and any medication they may need.

 

What are the requirements needed for my pet to stay at VPBL?

The owner must give assurance that their pet is in a fit and healthy condition. Any pets showing signs of ill health will be denied. Any pets on chronic medication will be denied.

We require up-to-date vaccinations, it may not be older than 12 months or before 7 days of check-in. Puppies & kittens need to have at least 2 vaccinations with the latest vaccination before 14 days of check-in. We also require your pet to well-socialized and friendly.

What are your operating hours?

Monday to Friday: 08:00 to 17:00

Saturday: STRICTLY CLOSED

Sunday & Public Holiday: 08:00 to 10:00 & 15:00 to 18:00

May we view the kennel before making a booking?

Yes! We understand that your pet is an important part of your family and you would like to ensure they will be coming to a clean, safe and loving environment. Please do come and visit our premises. We only ask that you let us know you coming.

Viewing is available from Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00

 

How do we make a booking?

If you would like to make a booking, we do require a contract to be completed (once-off). Once this is completed we will make a booking for your required dates and send you an invoice. Once 50% of payment is received your booking is secured. To make a booking you can give as a call, send a WhatsApp or an email.

 

How do payments work?

All bookings require a 50% deposit when booking, the remaining fees are due before your pets are admitted. Please note we only accept EFT payments. Cash payments to be arranged and paid on the day of admission.

 

What is our Cancellation Policy?

Out of season bookings require a 2 day notice of cancellation. If cancelled before 2 days, your deposit will be kept for future bookings. If the cancellation policy is not followed you forfeit the 50% deposit.

Peak-Season bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit. If this booking is cancelled for any reason your forfeit the deposit. If you do not cancel the booking before date provided on your invoice, you are responsible for the full payment of the booked dates.

Do you allow all types of breeds?

Yes! However we require all breeds to be well-socialized and friendly. We have the right to refuse aggressive dogs for the safety of the other animals and our staff.

I have more than one pet, can they stay together?

Yes! Our kennels are large enough to accommodate larger families together. However if you need them to kennel separately this is also fine and it will not affect the cost, as we charge per animal and not per kennel. Please note that we cannot kennel cats & dogs together.
