T&C’S

1. The owner must give assurance that their pet is in a fit and healthy condition. Any pets showing signs of ill health will be denied. Any pets on chronic medication will be denied.
2. All animals need to be treated for ticks and fleas before arrival. We will not be held responsible if your pets go home with ticks and fleas after their visit. JEYES FLUID does not qualify as a treatment against ticks and fleas.
3. Please bring toys and beds. Please do not bring any food or water bowls. You are welcome to bring treats or chewies. Food is provided, unless you prefer your own food, then you may bring it along (however this does not change the cost per animal per night).
4. Yearly vaccinations must be up to date. This is a STRICT policy, no exceptions will be made. Please attach a copy of your pet’s vaccination certificates to this contract. Vaccinations may not be older than 12 months and not before 7 days of admission. Management will refuse admission if you cannot show proof of vaccination. Kennel cough vaccinations are recommended in peak season, but it is not compulsory.
5. Puppies and kittens are welcome, however they must have had at least two vaccinations prior to admission. Please note that their second vaccination must have been done at least 14 days prior to admission.
6. Unmanageable dogs will be refused admission or returned at managements discretion.
7. If your pet requires veterinary attention the owner will be responsible for all related costs.
8. In the event of serious illness/injury where the owner could not be reached, the veterinary’s decision relating to treatment of your pet will be final.
9. Boarding rates are charged per night basis irrespective of time of arrival/departure.
10. All bookings require a 50% deposit when booking, the remaining fees are due before your pets are admitted. Please note we only accept EFT payments. Cash payments to be arranged and paid on the day of admission.
11. If you cancel an out of season booking without a 2 day notice, you will be held responsible for 50% of the invoice.
12. A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will be required with bookings during peak-seasons. (School holiday) If you book during peak season and cancel the booking for any reason you will lose the deposit regardless of the time of cancellation, and the funds will not be kept as credit. If for whatever reason you do not follow booking dates and collect your pets earlier, you will not be credited. If you shorten your booking dates you will be held liable to pay the full amount of the original booked dates.
13. The owner agrees to pay all costs and charges incurred during your pets stay with us on the day of departure.
14. If you do not collect your pets within 4 days of agreed departure with no arrangements made your pet will become the property of Vaal Pet Boarding Lodge.
15. We assure our best possible care and service. The owner releases Vaal Pet Boarding Lodge and its employees from any liability for injury, death, loss, or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to your pets or belongings while in the care of Vaal Pet Boarding Lodge.
16. Boarding times are as follow:

Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00

STRICTLY CLOSED ON SATURDAYS

Sundays and Public holidays 08:00 to 10:00 OR 15:00 to 18:00

Please make arrangements in advance should the times not be suitable.
